Like so many others at this point, I'm done with LJ. I'm in the middle of reno and house-moving, so for the time being, I'm settling for ending the crossposts. klgaffney.dreamwidth.org is currently the home of Chaos Central, and you'll probably see more of me when all of my stuff is under one roof instead of scattered up and down the Jersey Shore. I also (very) occassionally pop up on twitter, also under klgaffney. I'm kinda attached to that particular grouping of letters.

Endgame is to close all LJ accounts, including the fic journals, tentatively by the end of April. (Note: S&F was imported years ago and is still semi-active. The others have not been and I'm undecided if or how that will happen. More than likely I'll revert to posting everything here for the time being, like I did way back in the day).

So hey go figure, after I asked for prompts, my laptop died. :( I managed to post the one lengthy af response, but the rest will be completed after I get that mess sorted out. (trying to compose stuff on this 7" touchscreen gets hectic fast).

In the meantime, Mousie and I are tiling the bathroom,



and W finished putting the vanity together. As soon as the floor is done, he'll be able to fit it into place.

I was really hoping to set aside today for writing, but we're kinda behind our self-imposed schedule so we're setting a bathtub today (the thing with the bathroom kinda spiraled a bit). But I'm DETERMINED to do SOMETHING creative before I damn well forget how that even works.

No, there is no additional context. We have, however, discovered that it IS possible to make the twins' brains crash. After which hilarity ensues on an epic scale and I'm so very sorry we didn't record it.

I also learned that even with brains crashed, they can rattle off Dr. Demento's 'They're Coming To Take Me Away' quite competently. They said they learned it from a Full Metal Alchemist AMV.

Playing other songs doesn't help, it just goes back to this as soon as I'm done:
